Grantown Museum

Highland Tourist Route

Discover the story of Grantown-on-Spey in Morayshire at Grantown Museum, and admire art work at changing exhibitions. Explore the collections, including family-friendly interactive displays and find out about Grantown, the traditional home of Clan Grant. The museum, which is open between April and October, also holds old parish registers of births, marriages and deaths, and can help with ancestral research if contacted in advance of a visit.

You’ll also find Grantown-on-Spey Golf Club and Craggan Outdoors, an outdoor activity company, nearby. Continue north after Grantown and either follow the route west, or detour east to the many attractions of Nairn and Forres.
