The Coig - The Shiel

A fascinating slice of 19th century engineering, and an ancient scheduled monument to boot, the Greenock Cut aquaduct is at the heart of a historic water catchment area surrounding Inverclyde and can be found in the Clyde Muirshiel Regional Park. Explore the area including the nearby Loch Thom along one of the many trails from the Greenock Cut Visitor Centre. The centre also includes interactive exhibitions.
