Alloway

The Coig - The Shire

A suburb of the town of Ayr, Alloway is probably most famous as the birthplace of Scotland's beloved National Bard, Robert Burns. Throughout Alloway, look out for connections to Burns, from the museum and gardens, to a monument and even the bridge and church which were immortalised in Tam O'Shanter.
