Muirshiel Country Park

The Coig - The Shiel

A haven for walkers, cyclists and wildlife spotters with its picturesque woodland trails and moorland hills, Muirshiel Country Park is a perfect spot to enjoy a day out with the family. Part of the Clyde Muirshiel Regional Park, which extends from Renfrewshire to Inverclyde and Ayrshire, look out for protected wildlife including the hen harrier, a dedicated Wild Land Area (one of only a handful south of the Highland Fault Line), soak up the cracking views from atop Windy Hill, or check out the ranger service for more information.
